Patricia Elizee is the managing partner of Elizee Law Firm, P.A. She practices immigration and family law. Ms. Elizee has worked extensively in matters involving equitable distribution of marital property, child support, nuptial agreements, custody, asylum, investment visas, and citizenship. Ms. Elizee has a number of leadership positions outside of the firm. She is the current president of the Haitian Lawyers Association, a non-profit membership organization whose mission is to promote excellence, professionalism, equality and diversity in the legal profession and among our members and to facilitate the administration of justice while striving to protect and promote the general welfare of the Haitian-American community and other minority residents in the South Florida area.

In 2016, Ms. Elizee was appointed by Chairman, Jean Monestime, to the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board, the official representation of the Hispanic community in Miami-Dade County. She is a current co-chair of the Florida Bar Family Law Section’s Publication Committee. Ms. Elizee is also an active member of the Haitian Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Elizee is a contributor of Le Floridien Newspaper, where her “Legal Corner” column focuses on immigration and family law issues. She has also been published in the Sun Sentinel, the Orlando, the Florida Keys Key Noter, the Haiti Gazette, and the DCBA Bulletin.

Patricia Elizee was born in Port-au-Prince in Haiti. She earned her Bachelor in Science and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Miami. She went on to earn her Masters in Law from the University of Washington School of Law.
