Luc Castera holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Telecommunications and DSP from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is Co-Founder of Cetus Labs, a software engineering company that builds and sells software to simplify and streamline port terminal operations; it built a modern Terminal Operating System (TOS) called Octopi. Cetus Labs was as selected as one of the 10 companies to be part of the Venture Hive startup accelerator in Miami, FL, and was the winner of the Early Stage Startup Competition at eMerge Americas 2016. Luc is also Co-Founder of BlueJays Labs, which designed, implemented, and launched htmlsig.com: a simple tool to create and manage email signatures.  In Haiti, he co-founded Job509.com and, in just two years, the leading jobs website has built a database with tens of thousands of resumes, has helped thousands of job-seekers find employment in Haiti, and has built a strong reputation as the place to go when searching for a new employee in Haiti. When he’s not finding new ways to give back to his community through various initiatives, Luc loves playing and watching soccer.
